How we work.
We're a small outfit, which means the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it. There's no call centre and no sales visit — you get whoever is closest to knowing what your roof needs.
Coming out costs you nothing. We get up and look properly rather than guessing from the pavement, tell you what's actually wrong, and put a price in writing before anyone lifts a slate. If a repair will do, we'll say so; we're not looking to sell you a roof you don't need yet.
Most of our work is slate, which is what the houses round here are built with. A standard semi is stripped, felted, battened and finished in about two days. Flat roofs we do in fibreglass, EPDM rubber or torch-on felt depending on what the roof is for.
The phone is answered around the clock. Weather comes in off the Irish Sea with very little warning on this coast, and a roof that's opened up overnight can't wait until Monday. If you need a tarpaulin over something at two in the morning, ring.
